Vincent, a new deerling at the ranch, pranced around being viewed from afar from the other deerling. "he's so cute," Winter said, "Totally," Summer replied, "Anyone would be luck to have him," Spring reasoned. Autumn looked at the three head over hoofs, "he's a nice guy but, I don't know." Autumn tried to back away from the rest of her friends before bumping into Prancer, "sorry," she whispered. "It's fine, why are they all staring at him like that?" Prancer wondered, giving a glance toward the new cross. "There head over hoofs for the new deer, although I don't particular care, I just want my friends back..." "I just don't understand what all the buzz is about. I mean sure, he's a fine buck, he's a cross, but he's not worth fawning over to THAT extent." she responded with a meaningful nod to the three infatuated deer. "At least someone understands," "AUTUMN!" Winter yelled, "im sorry I have to go," Autumn went towards the rest of four season, Vixen crossing by, "Hello,"he said to the Four Seasons. "Hello there." Prancer replied, dipping her head politely. "why hello," Vincent replied to Prancer "Vincennntttt" Winter called out but he didnt seem to hear.  "Erm, hello." Prancer responded again, unaware that the first hello was to the other deerlings. "What is there something wrong?" Vincent asked "VINCENT!!" Winter shouted, mad that the attention from Vincent wasnt on her, i meam Prancer and her were basically the same except for her yellow changed to red. Prancer turned to the other deerling in the distance, seeing envy in Winter's gaze. Prancer flicked her ear toward the other deerling, hoping that the cross would look over to the other deer watching. Yet he didnt turned away as yet he was more interested in her, For some reason he felt that Prancer was more special then other deerling, "Im Vice---" He was then cut off as he was dragged away by Winter with the help of Summer. Prancer gave a small giggle as the cross was dragged away by the lovestruck deerlings as Autumn trotted up to her. "Now that's over with," she turned her head to her "sisters" and back to Prancer, "I think i need a break from "Vincent" or "Vincent" that" Autumn giggled. She rolled her eyes at the three others, but then at Vincent, He was staring back at them with a help me smile. Prancer giggled as the cross was savaged by the deerling and pleaded with his eyes for help. "Ya think we should help him?" Prancer asked. "I don't know, its up to you, I usually go with whatever anyone else chooses, that's why I sort of a push-over...." Autumn responded trailing off in the end. Prancer glanced to the fall deerling. "Well today's your lucky day, you get to make a decision for once." she stated, laying a hoof over another and relaxing on the tree trunk. "It's not that hard, simply choose one, or the other." "But how does one decide?" Autumn asked before a shadow was above her. Its was Vincent, mixed and mangled from and the other deerling, "Thank's for the help," he said sarcastically. Prancer had to try hard to hold back a snicker. Vincent was covered in dirt and debris. "You've got a little something right....there." She gestured to all of him. "Let me get it," Autumn pulled a cloth from her back and rubbed his nose, "Better?" Vincent shook his head,"Now that we have time, I would like to properly introduce myself before THEY come for me..." he turned his head to make sure they weren't behind him. "Of course." Prancer replied, dipping her head politely. "Im am Vincent," he replied bowing to the fair Prancer, "At least two wont maul me," he said before he heard trotting, "HIDE ME!" he shouted as he hid behind autumn and Prancer who were standing next to each other. Prancer tried her best to cover Vincent when a wild Season trio appeared. "AUTUMN! Where have you been?!?" Winter yelled "Yeah we've been looking everywhere for you!" Spring shouted a mad expression on her face, "And Vincent, have you seen him?" summer asked, "Nope not all at" Autumn replied with a small tear in her eye, she was us to their yelling but sometimes she just cracks. "Vincent was just, uh, over there, last we saw." Prancer responded awkwardly, gesturing to the other side of the field. She was met with a skeptical glance from Winter as she told her story. Winter approached Prancer, eyes squinting into her soul, "You sure about that?" Winter Questioned as she saw small blue spots behind the two, "How do I know your not keeping him for yourself..." "What reason would we have to keep him for ourselves anyway? If we were as infatuated you three seem to be, we'd be chasing after him like you are, dont you think?" the rarity deerling reasoned. "she does have a point," Spring pointed out, "Yeah I guess," Winter said as she trotted off making summer and Spring follow, "AUTUMN!" Winter yelled, " Sorry.." she then trotted off to Winter to where she whispered, "I don't want to see you with that deerling ever again," "but, but," "NO! You listen to my orders!" "o-o-ok..." and that was all that was heard. "See you later Autumn!" Prancer called, waving a hoof as her friend left. "O-ok.." was all that was heard in response as the Four Seasons trotted away, with Winter in the lead. "Is it safe?" Vincent said as the four seasons went out of view. "I think so? They're gone, if thats what you mean." Prancer replied, helping Vincent to his hooves. "I must thank you," He said as he lowered his head, "Until next time I need you to be my knight.." he started to trot off but yet he was stopped again. Prancer stopped him, wanting to say something more. "Yes?" he asked but Prancer seemed to stutter, not being able to complete a sentence, "I, uh, we dont you, I mean.." Prancer pawed at the ground with a hoof, suddenly becoming awkward. "Is something wrong?" he turned around, picking up the hoof that was pawing at the ground. Prancer blushed slightly, gingerly pulling back her hoof. "It's um...It's nothing..." she responded, her ears lowering the slightest bit. "oh ok.." Vincent started to trot away, waving goodbye to Prancer as he went. Meanwhile Autumn was underneath Fairy flower's big tree, alone, crying in the light that it illuminated. "B-bye!" Prancer replied, flustered. She heard gentle sobbing from not far off. Her lovestruck feeling were put aside for a moment, finding the sad pokemon was the more important thing right now. Autumn was in a small pool of tears near her hoofs, face dug into her forelegs and hoofs. Prancer trotted over quietly in the half-light. She saw a small deerling sobbing by the tree. She knelt down next to it and saw.."Autumn?" she asked, concerned for her friend. She looked up to Prancer, her face wet and shimmering in the light, "What are you doing here? If Winter finds you with me, she will..." Autumn didn't even want to think of what would happen. "What does Winter have to do with all of this?" Prancer asked, leaning her head against her friend's. "she said I cant see you anymore or else..." Autumn sniffled at the end, tear streaks dried on her face. "What right does she have to boss you around like that?!" She gasped, shocked at the notion. "I'd like to see her try to keep us apart," she added, quietly. "what's she gonna do? Tell Rocky to make a taller fence?" she giggled slightly. "Well she is the oldest out of us, and I am known as the "doormat" whatever that means, but Winters really scary when shes mad, you should of seen what she did to someone when they got in her way of getting everything she wants, Poor little Moonlight never left Rockys head for 2 weeks, bruised on hands and feet.." "Someone ought to talk some sense into her. She can't just tell you all what you can and can't do like this.." "well that's how it is, especially for us three..." Autumn responded. "...I need to talk to her, tomorrow probably, give her some time to get over....whatever compelled her to ban you from me." Prancer thought aloud. "I need to make sure she knows that she can't boss you around like this." "o-o-ok.." Autumn replied as she got up, " better get going before they come searching for me again.. goodbye" Autumn trotted away to a small cottage. "Goodbye Autumn!" she called, padding back under the night sky to Neon's ranch. The next day the four deerling were at the fence, Three, but mainly one, was on the lookout for Vincent, yet there was no sign of him. Prancer trotted up to the fence, dipping her head politely in greeting, with a small smile to Autumn. Winter rolled her eyes, Summer didn't seem to notice, Spring was too busy bouncing, and Autumn gave a smile before it was quickly gone when Winter glanced at her. "Hello there." she tried again, trying to be friendly. "What are YOU doing here exactly?" Winter asked, "Yes indeed." Summer responded, "I though Winter said for you to stay away.. or was that to Autumn?" "SPRING!" Winter had an enraged face on, "sorry." "Stay away? What have I done to need to stay away from you? Did I smile to much?" she said, amusedly. Winter then turned to Prancer slowly approaching her, "You're going to stay away from here! or else!" Winter was infront of Prancer pushing her back. Autumn tried to approach but she couldn't. Prancer backed up a few steps and then stood her ground. "Explain why I need to stay away, what did I do to you?" the rarity deerling asked. Winter eyes squinted at Prancer, "I think you know what you did.." just as Winter tossed Prancer over the Fence bruised, Vincent come along and saw what happened...Both Autumn and him went rush over to her. Prancer winced as she was bucked over the fence by the deerling. She saw two deerlings coming to help. Vincent and.."Autumn?" Why had she risked the same fate by deliberately going to her? She was forbidden! "Are you ok?" Autumn asked and Vincent helps her up. One of Prancer's hoof in his, wiping off scratches, "AUTUMN!?! WHAT DID I TELL YOU!??" "I don't care anymore!' Autumn yelled back, tears streaking her face again, "I cant see you hurt Pokémon like this anymore.." "I..I think I'm going to be fine mostly.." she responded as she was helped to her hooves by the cross. Autumn stood next to Vincent and Prancer, "And if you cant accept my choice... than so be it" she gave a smile to Prancer and Vincent. Prancer got a tear in her eye, proud that the quiet young deerling stood up for herself at last. The rarity trotted up to her friend and stood firm, gazing back at the others across the fence, who were showing a wide array of emotions. Confusion, astonishment, sadness, and one in particular showed betrayal. As autumn trotted away she thought to herself ~What did I just do? did I just make a big mistake?~ meanwhile Vincent was making sure Prancer was ok "Is there anything that is sprained? Broken? Battered?" He was quite worried for her. "Just a couple of bumps and things, not too bad." Prancer assured, a slight blush appearing on her face. She was flattered that he would be this concerned about her of all things. "well that's good," he replied back, "Meanwhile where are we going?" Autumn asked. "I..I think it would be best if you stayed here on Neon's ranch for now...give Winter some time to cool down.." Prancer reasoned, gently nudging her friend toward the open meadow. "O-o-ok.." Autumn said as she walked over to a tree lit by small Christmas lights, meanwhile Prancer and Vincent stay awake up on a hill looking over all the lights and sleeping Pokémon. "It's nice here, isn't it...." Prancer murmured, half to herself, as she looked out over the colorfully lit meadows and the house not far beyond. "indeed," Vincent replied as he somewhat got closer to Prancer, "so this is the view you have every night?" "Yep, its a beauty.." Prancer responded, starting to wander down the hill to where Autumn was. She stopped and turned around. "Goodnight Vincent." she said with a small smile. "Wait!" he called out stretching out his hoof, yet it was in his mind that he yelled, in reality he only had an outstretched hoof to Prancer.  Prancer continued down the hill, unaware of the cross waiting for her. She trotted up to Autumn, who had found a nice sleeping place by the large tree. She curled up beside her friend and slept. The next morning Autumn was the first to wake, seeing Vincent and Prancer on either side of her, "Morning," Prancer twitched her ear and opened one eye slightly. "Morning." she replied, getting up and stretching a little. Vincent got up as well, helping Prancer up as he approached her, "So what shall we do today," Autumn asked, "Not get mauled.." Vincent shot his eyes to Fairy flower. "That sounds like a good plan." Prancer responded. Suddenly the door to the main ranch house opened, and a little orange pokemon hopped out, smiling like crazy. Autumn shot back behind Vincent and Prancer, "W-w-what was that?" A little deerling fawn trotted up to the group, still a bit awkward on its long thin legs. "He-ello!" she said, becoming a little less bouncy. Autumn poked her head out, "H-hey you look like me," "Hey you look like me!" the fawn remarked at the same time, and then giggled. It's true, she looked like a smaller version of Autumn with only a few slight differences. The most notable being the bright yellow flower on the side of her head. "who's this?" Vincent asked Prancer. "I...don't know. Judging by how she's just been brought in the meadow for what seems to be the first time, I'd say she's new." "My name is Graceful Dancer~" the fawn responded, doing a little twirl. "That's a nice name," Autumn smiled as she appeared infront of Vincent and Prancer, the two close together from being smooshed inside. Far away Winter was watching over the fence looking for Prancer and Vincent. In a small house over the fence she noticed the two close together, little did she know that there was no room. Winter stormed off getting ready. Prancer laughed a little as the little fawn fell down after her twirl. She stopped abrubtly as she seemed to be hurt by the bigger deerling's laughter, but then burst out laughing herself. "Did you see that? I just went 'boom!' Right flopped on the ground." Winter was storming over, her teammates in hand, "That deerling messed with the wrong deer," "Do you mind if I call you Grace? Graceful Dancer is quite a big name for such a small deer. Don't worry, you'll grow into it, I'm sure." Prancer asked. "Grace.." the orange fawn responded, trying out the name. "I like that! I will be Grace!" she declared. Grace glanced over to the fence, where she saw three other deerling hopping the fence. She trotted over excitedly. "Hi who are you? I'm Grace!" The three pushed through the fawn like it was nothing, all angered expressions on their faces, "HEY! YOU MAD WINTER MAD!!!" spring shouted in anger, "And no one makes her mad!" Summer yelled. "What's the matter with you? And you still didn't answer me, who ARE you?" Grace persisted, trotting along beside them. "Vincent how could you betray me?" Winter asked with a tear in her eye, "And YOU! How dare you take him away from me!?! You shall pay," Winter spoke, "WHAT!?!" Vincent yelled as winter said the he betrayed her "You mauled me!" "What's this about, Winter?" Prancer asked, backing up a bit. "you don't wanna know," Winter slowly approached Prancer slamming down each hoof with each step closer. Grace followed behind the other two as the group approached. She was making a mock angry face, trying to be silly. She then hopped in front of Spring and made a silly face. "hey that my job!" spring proceeded to play with Grace, "SPRING!" "sorry," Winter had backed Prancer into a corner. Prancer stood against the large tree. "Winter, what IS this about." she repeated. "You already know," Winter proceed to use double kick before Vincent jumped infront of her, "Winter this has gone on long enough!" Autumn jumped over to the two, "And you! how dare you betray me even worse than him, we agreed to be sisters, and that means you listen to me!" Winter used double kick on Autumn. Prancer called out from behind Vincent. "Winter! Just because you're the oldest "sister" doesn't mean you can boss them around like this! Summer, Spring, surely you see this is wrong?" Summer and spring looked each other and then at Prancer, "Well duh!" Spring called out, "We're not idiots you know," Summer replied "The reason we follow is because," "Well we don't really know! I though it was just a game," "It's only a game until someone gets hurt..." she muttered. "Well I got hurt, and if I can have him not one can!" she then turned back to Prancer and used double kick on her again, once stopped by Vincent again as well, "I said that's enough!" Vincent used double kick on Winter. Prancer stepped back and turned around. Winter, seeing her opening, leapt in to double kick Prancer again. Prancer double kicked her, stunning the deerling for a minute. "double teamed!" Vincent shouted as the two double kicked Winter in unison. Meanwhile Autumn hid on the background scared for her life using camouflage. The two double teamed again, and Winter flinched, leaving her open for another Double Kick from Vincent. Vincent found his place and double kicked Winter once more, being 7 levels above her, it was enough to bring her down to 1 hp before fainting. Autumn still camouflaged into the background, she wanted nothing to do with this, yet she felt like its her fault. Prancer stepped back, breathing heavily from taking so much damage. She looked to the defeated Winter, who had collapsed on the ground. "Wh-what do we do now?" she asked no one in particular.  Vincent looked around, "Wait, where's Autumn?" "Autumn?" Prancer called, and then saw her friend blending in amongst the roots of the large tree. "A-a-autumn's not here right now, leave a message after the beep," she proceeded to make a beep sound. Prancer knelt down to peer under the low hanging branches of the large conifer. "Autumn, I can see you there." she said gently. "No, no you cant," Autumn started to camouflaged to a point that she cant be seen. Prancer poked the deerling under the tree with a hoof, which caused her camouflage to lessen slightly. "Autumn its ok, you can come out now." "No, no I canttt," Vincent walked over and shook the tree, causing autumn to fall on top of him, "Yes, you can," Prancer helped the deerling to her feet, nudging her gently. "Its fine now, don't worry." Suddenly the small deerling fawn returned, having seen the whole thing play out. She was clearly amazed. "Whoa that was so cool! You were just like boom boom!" she said excitedly, mimicking the double kick. Vincent smiled as he nudged Prancer, "We were pretty cool," Prancer smiled weakly. "Yeah, that's one way to interpret it.." "meanwhile what should we do about miss kicker over here," Autumn saw this as he chance to run away, in camouflaged into the tree within the branches. "I..don't know..." Prancer responded, taking a tentative step toward the winter deerling. Summer and Spring approached winter, "Maybe we could take er to the pokemon center?" Summer questioned, "But we have no pokeballs" spring replied. "Maybe....I think Neon has some ultra balls from the December gifts, perhaps that would work." Prancer suggested. Autumn appeared between Prancer and Vincent, "I don't think so...", "We'll take her and see what they can do," Summer said, "We'll leave you alone," Spring responded. Autumn hopped off with the two, leaving Prancer and Vincent. Prancer looked off after them as they carried their sister to the nearest PokeCenter. Vincent followed close behind Prancer, once they reached the pokemon center the too waited in the chairs while the rest went to watch on Winter. Prancer knelt on the ground, her hoof idly pawing the carpet as she stared at it. Vincent turned to Prancer lifting said hoof from the ground, "Is there something wrong? The rarity's eyes followed her hoof until they met with Vincent's. Trying to hide the blush on her face, she looked back to the floor. "I...Do you think that was the right thing to do? Fighting her like that? ...I feel no better than her now.." she muttered. "Well, we did what was right, i mean she was bulling you and Autumn, yet i can't be sure" "Yeah..." He then felt her hoof pull away as she got up to the counter to see the status of Winter. Prancer trotted into the room, seeing if Winter was ok. she was still knocked out, but her breathing and heart rate had returned to normal, judging by the screens. Vincent pulled back his hoof as he followed Prancer to where Winter was, "She's ok," Summer said, "Although she does need to rest," Autumn spoke, "You beat her up really good!" Spring shouted before she was shushed, "Sooorrryyyy," Prancer's ears fell at Spring's outburst. "Yeah..."she muttered. Vincent patted Prancer on the back, "Its ok," "But it's not though," she said, looking up at him. "I hate using my battle moves against other pokemon I know..." "But what were we suppose to do, let you get hurt? I couldn't let that happen after what you've done for me, and what she has done to me too," Vincent closed his eyes as he stood firm. "Yes....Then I wouldn't be the one regretting what I did and maybe my point wouldn't be made...." she mumbled, barely audible, looking at Winter. "we've all impacted one another's life, some more than others, but we shall remember the love we have in our hearts," He shed a tear as he mumbled the last part to himself, "Someday," Suddenly the brown deerling's eyes fluttered open. "Winter? A-are you ok?" Prancer asked. Winter shot out of her bed, "You shall pay for this, for taking him away from me and what just done," Winter jumped infront Prancer, "Lets go!" "Winter please! I wont let you get hurt again," Autumn shouted as Vincent stood infront of Prancer, prepared if Winter were to attack her. "Winter DON'T. You're outmatched by level and you're badly injured in that leg.." Prancer said, nodding her head to Winter's left hind leg. "Does it seem like i CARE?!? You've taken him away from me, its obvious he loves you! i mean why would he be protecting you and be hanging out with you?! and then you beat me in battle?! I will not allow it!" Winter went for the pounce before stopped by Autumn, "Winter PLEASE! i beg of you, i cant see you in this condition! i dont want you get more hurt tham you already are!" "You, you always get in my way!" A blush appeared on Prancer's face. "We-we're friends, I'd protect you if you were being hurt too!" Prancer replied. "Don't take your anger out on Autumn, if anyone....take it out on me." she added quietly, hanging her head low. "Go ahead! Yell at me! tell me how stupid I was to try and take him from you! anything!" Prancer yelled, tears beginning to stream down her face as she stood, bracing herself. Yet not one yelled except for Winter, Vincent still stood by Prancer's side and so did Autumn. "Ok then," Winter started out, "How could you take Vincent away from me! He's mine and you know it! if you ever try to take him away from me again, ill crush you to a pulp. You dont even like him!" Prancer looked up, shocked as Vincent retaliated. "Winter that is enough!" he spoke as he clenched his teeth. Prancer stepped back carefully as her ears fell. She stood, crouched, next to Autumn, who was standing tall. Almost a complete role reversal. Vincent snorted as he went to sit down next to Prancer and Autumn, "Dont listen to her, You're amazing, and you know it," he said. Autumn shook her head in agreement. Prancer just buried her face in her hoofs as they tried to comfort her. ~What have I done?~ Vincent lifted her face, "You're not a failure, youre special in you're own way, and dont let other people tell you anything different. It what i like about you," "Yes, Vincent is right," Autumn start to speak, "You are who you are, and you're amazing," "Th-thank you..." she mumbled in a barely audible whisper. She looked up at Winter who no longer seemed mad. She wasn't mad, but she definitely wasn't wearing the most friendly of faces either. Winter rolled her eyes, "You lucky my leg is broken, or else i would beat you to a pulp", she trotted away with they rest of the Four seasons back to fairy flower. Meanwhile Vincent helped Prancer up, wiping away her tears. A blush soon covered Prancer's face as she looked into Vincent's eyes. I-Is it really that obvious?"she stuttered, letting herself be helped up by the cross. "Is what obvious?" he asked with a embaressed smile. "N-nothing.." she responded, trying to hide her growing blush. "O-oh," he let down his ears, "I was hoping it was something but," He was stopped by Prancer. "Is it obvious?" she asked again. "I think you know what I'm trying to ask, even if I can't find the words..." He ears perked up again. "heh, sort of," he gave a goofy smile. "I think you do." she responded and smiled at him. "Well uh," he gave a smile and blushed, "what shall we do now?" "I say we head back and sleep, it's getting dark.." she suggested as they trotted outside through the sunset. The two ended up behind the tree they slept at before, lit with small lights. Together the two fell asleep
